A day in the life of a quirky mail clerk with an overactive imagination chasing after the man of her dreams. 'Brown about Town' is a romantic comedy and fantasy short film / pilot.
It centres around lovable loser Bernadette 'Bernie' Brown (Genevieve Brock), her talking dog Bourke and crazy co-workers at the Trickett Press magazine house. Bernie just delivers the mail, but dreams of being an artist, if only she could stop her mind wandering. Her biggest distraction is the Head of Creative at the Press - the confident, handsome and somewhat dapper, Adam Hunter (Christian Heath). Bernie's imagination gets her unstuck at most things in life, but when Adam asks her out on a date, a wild night on the town proves a turning point for Bernie.
